CAREERS

Committed To The Craft

We have a storied tradition of hard work and perseverance that dates back more than 100 years. And, because of these qualities, we’re known as one of the longest-standing private tugboat operators in Western Canada—proudly earned by way of talented people and a commitment to our craft.

Careers at Hodder

Along with Transport Canada’s requirements for seafaring work, we work with industry unions like the Canadian Merchant Service Guild and the International Longshore and Warehouse Union 400 (ILW 400) to ensure our crews are capable of quality work.

We’re always looking for talented and passionate people to add to our team. If you don’t see a job opening available, you’re welcome to submit a general application Form, along with supporting documentation as applicable.

    What We’re Made Of

We never stop. Our teams cycle on 12-hour shifts so that our fleet can operate continuously, day and night. Because of this, we’re always seeking new, enthusiastic members that represent our core values.
