FUEL SURCHARGE CALCULATION

dollar sign

Hourly rates are subject to a fuel surcharge calculated using a $.75/litre base rate
(including Federal Excise, Provincial Fuel, and BC Carbon taxes).
For each $.01 increase in fuel above $.75, the fuel surcharge will increase by 31%.

For example, if our fuel cost is $1.60/litre the surcharge would be 26.35% [(1.60 – .75) x .31].
We adjust our fuel surcharge weekly based on the previous week’s average.
