Hodder’s Partnership with MRDS and CLA

When news of the war in Ukraine and Russian invasion reached the world, Hodder responded with compassion and action, guided by their faith in God. Under the leadership of President Tony Fadyeyev and their Executive Team, and with the expertise and tireless labor of their Director of IT and Shore Operations, Denys Skudilov, Hodder provided assistance to several Ukrainian War refugee families. This included helping them emigrate to Canada and committing to support them by providing housing for a specified time as they adjusted to their new life.

Hodder also established a partnership with two Canadian organizations, Millennium Relief and Development Services (MRDS) and Christian Life Assembly Church (CLA), to further support the cause. MRDS is an international network of development centers committed to helping people in difficult situations, while CLA is a community of believers dedicated to providing practical support and compassion to those in need, as inspired by the teachings of Jesus Christ.

We Serve Because of Christ’s Sacrifice.
Christ’s own sacrifice compels us to get out of our own story and into the story of others. Jesus calls us to serve and not sit, to sacrifice our personal time, gifts and resources to see others transformed by the gospel. We lead and are not just led, we feed and are not just fed. We find meaning and purpose in choosing to serve.

– Christian Life Assembly

Anyone interested in contributing to the Ukrainian refugee project through MRDS or CLA can be a part of fulfilling God’s will by helping those in need. They are also able to receive a Canadian tax-deductible charitable giving receipt as a token of appreciation for their generosity. This partnership between Hodder, MRDS, and CLA exemplifies the importance of faith-based community and corporate social responsibility in making a positive impact on the lives of those affected by conflict and displacement.
